Further Ado focuses on songs not widely known but which are clearly worthy of greater attention, in the broad general genre of contemporary acoustic folk music. Both Dawn Garisch and Ian Bell are published poets, authors, musicians and doctors who first met when they were in the same class at UCT medical school and find themselves, decades later, in a relationship on and off the stage. Interleaved with stories about the songs and with their own poetry, (if the audience cares for this) this blend makes a curious and engaging celebration of the creative, in the sung and spoken word.
